How my journey began
After studying Business Management, I went travelling for 15 years to see the world. With plenty of opportunity, I moved around from MarComms to Research to PR and into Digital. On returning to New Zealand found that my career wasn’t progressing with all of that ‘overseas experience’. I applied myself on design projects where did some of my best work. However, I was always susceptible to corporate restructures and the rapid change of business skills which challenged my self worth.
Briefly going out on my own, I learned what my skills, values and worth were as I sold my services. I learned about the value exchange between the employer (or client) and myself. It was hard at times but it started a big piece of self exploration on both a personal and professional level to become clearer on who I was and how I might continue to earn a decent income to support my family and stay sane while I explored what I really wanted to do. I still work within a corporate environment and help people move within and out of companies to their advantage.
A qualified NLP Practitioner and Certified Coach IANLP (IN) with 30 years of business experience both in NZ and abroad, I understand first hand, the challenges of working within corporate environments. My belief is that each of us has the answers to living a fulfilling life within us. It’s a case of getting that out on the table and exploring the best options.
I’m passionate about helping people organise the best of what they have in order to grow to become the best version of themselves. My approach to coaching is no nonsense mixed with a healthy dose of dry humour, helping to keep things in perspective.
